By using HiChester, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Using HiChester

HiChester is a tool for recording shared trip expenses and calculating how a group may settle up. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking that amounts, currencies, participants, and balances are correct.

Trip links and accounts

Keep trip links and email access links private. Do not select another traveler’s name, access a trip without permission, or share private trip information outside the group.

Uploads

You may upload only receipts or files you have the right to use. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse HiChester, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass its security, introduce malicious code, or use it for unlawful activity.

Not financial advice or a payment service

HiChester calculates and displays information entered by users. It does not hold or transfer money, verify that a payment occurred, provide accounting services, or offer financial, tax, or legal advice.

Availability

We work to keep HiChester accurate and available, but the service may occasionally be interrupted, changed, or unavailable. Keep your own records of important expenses and receipts.

Disclaimer and responsibility

HiChester is provided as available without guarantees that every calculation, exchange rate, email, upload, or feature will always be error-free. To the extent allowed by law, HiChester is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user entries, disagreements between travelers, lost access links, or service interruptions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
